Marketing Manager

The marketing manager defines the company’s commercial strategy. The job is based on market research data, particularly in terms of competition and on knowledge of the usual behaviors of its target.

Media planner

This profession connects companies and agencies selling online and offline advertising space. After analyzing the product (positioning, target, etc.) and before launching the campaign, the media planner creates the plan for the chosen media and their exploitation, which he monitors and analyzes the impact.

Marketing Database Manager

Also called database manager, he is responsible for the organization, management and maintenance of customer data collected by field investigators. In particular, he creates panels on which product policies are based. The database manager is often also a specialist in data mining, i.e. in optimizing customer relationship management through statistical exploration of the database. In this case, this job is very close to direct (operational) marketing.

The Marketing Product Manager

He leads the strategy of a product. From the launch to the profitability study, including production monitoring and the advertising approach, his objective remains the development of the turnover generated by this product.  

The marketing project manager

Based on market research and competitive intelligence, the profession manages the company’s marketing and sales strategies from design to implementation and monitoring. It also helps define the methods of communication.  

The brand manager or brand manager

It builds and develops the brand’s reputation and image through the media ( storytelling ). The brand manager’s job is mainly based on market analysis, the construction of a strategy, and digital action around the product (animation of the website , the product community on social networks, etc.).

Operational marketing professions

The operational marketing manager

He defines and leads the strategy aimed directly at customers and consumers to capture. He intervenes at the level of prices, promotions, loyalty cards, SMS alerts, etc. as well as at that of distribution channels.

The customer relationship manager

Expert in customer behavior, he develops customer volume, satisfaction levels and loyalty. Close to the marketing strategy, the core business remains the monitoring of customer relations by identifying indicators and proposing improvements. His digital alter ego is the project manager – CRM (Customer relationship management) .
